What you will do is put yourself in the hospital. If all you do is eat 400 calories a day your body will turn those straight into fat as it feels that your body is starving. When that happens anything it intakes turns into fat.

And then add working out and doing such strenuous exercises on such a low calorie intake....all you will do is damage your body.

What you need to do is eat 3 meals a day with 2 snacks. Then exercise 6 times a week. Do cardio and strength training on opposing days with one day off for rest. Take your calories down to about 1500 a day and make sure the foods are healthy and you will lose weight.

EDITED TO ADD....
I have to ask...you said you ate nothing but fruit, veggies and whole milk and that you lost some weight in 20 days. Let me ask when you started eating normally again how fast did you gain that weight back? And did you gain more on top of it? Because I can tell you that is what will happen when you starve your body.

I cannot eat when I'm upset. While dealing with a family crisis for about 3 months I ate about 400 calories a day. I wasn't exercising regularly. I only lost about 5 or so pounds but I know some of it was muscle. I was thin but my skin looked bad and I felt weak and kind of sickly. I was about 30 years old and 5'6"/130 lbs. Very average build.

I didn't do any of this to lose weight, but it showed me that it's best to eat healthy and exercise rather than not eating enough. A dietician told me (at about age 27) to eat 1600 calories/day to lose weight and 1800 calories a day to maintain weight. I know this varies by age, weight, height, etc. but just an example. Good luck.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

if you eat under 1200 calories a day, your metabolism slows and you will gain weight eventually. if you want to have a NET total of 400 calories (which is what i am doing, currently loss 16 pounds 6 weeks) then you should eat 1200 minimum and work out to lose 800 (about 1.5 hours speed walking/jogging for me).
Better though, to stay around 1500 calories and lose 1000 by working out twice a day for an hour each time.

you will surely lose weight and at the same time lower your metabolism-which is very very bad, you should have max of 2000 calories a day, eat 3-5 times a day, small meals only. continue exercising =)

Are you crazy?
For one, you can screw up your metabolism, which can make it slower, so whenever you do eat a large meal, it'll store it as fat and not go away. Unless you are planning to become anorexic/bulimic.
And two, that is the dumbest idea i've ever heard in my life.

weight as in muscle, that will do it. you will lose as much muscle as fat with a 400 calorie daily diet with exercise on top of school, etc. you are on you way to a fatter body by starving yourself
