I made some randon cookies :] I made about a dozen, and i have about a pound of cookie dough left.

Do i wrap it and put it in the refridgerator, or in the freezer?
Im not going to save it for long, just maybe 'til tomorrow. I just dont feel like baking another batch.

By the way, it was my own little made up recipe of.
I call them: Pecan Butter Coco Rolls

If you want to try them out for yourself, here's the recipe:

1 cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbs milk
2 1/2 cups All purpose flour
1 cup Shaved Coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup chopped benut butter cups

Cream the butter & sugar together in a large bowl. [by cream, i mean just mix them up really good]
Now, blend in the milk & vanilla extract.
Blend in flour, pecans & penut butter cups.

Coolthe bowl of dough in the freezer for roughly 5minutes.

Pour out your 1 cup coconut onto a big plate. Take small amounts of the prepared dough and roll them in the coconut.

You can make tubular shapes, or stick to the traditional balls.

Now, bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Let stand 10 minutes. [IMPORTANT]

Now, enjoy!

They will be crunchy, and oh so yummy!

Thanks for [considering] to try my recipe.

I was amazed myself at how good they come out.

***ALSO, if i put it in the freezer, will it freeze?***

***ONE MORE THING***

When you bake them, leave the cookie sheet UNGREASED :]

If you are making them tomorrow then just leave it in it's bowl and cover tightly with saran wrap so it doesn't dry out and place it in the fridge. If you are going to wait longer then a day to make the rest wrap it tightly in saran wrap and then place in a freezer zip lock bag.

Sounds yummy. I think I will have to try your recipe. Thanks for including it!

** And yes the dough will freeze if you put it in the freezer. You can freeze cookie dough for about 4-6 weeks. When you are ready to use it allow it to thaw for about 30 minutes and then it should be back to its great texture.**

Your recipe sounds pretty good. Ignore that answer that says the dough will rise...that is sooo wrong! There's nothing in your recipe that could possible rise. Your dough will be fine in the fridge for a few days. I'd put it in the freezer if it's going to be a week or so. Just cover your dough in the container you already have dirty, unless it's way to big.

I have had a lot of luck putting leftover dough in the freezer...it just seems to taste better once I use it again.

Also...that recipe sounds delicious...I am going to try them out!!

FREEZER!! If you put the dough in the refridgerator, it will rise. You will not be able to make anymore cookies with it. I have made the mistake b4. Wrap in in either plastic wrap, ziploc bag or wax paper if you have niothing else.

if you're only saving them 'til tomorrow just put them in the fridge no worries.
