I recently had a titanium plate placed near the front of my face next to my eye. It's near that area were you kinda massage if you have a little headache, between eyes and ears. My question is, would having this plate screwed into my skull so close to the eye cause headaches and over time cause the headaches to get worse?
also i have heard that the breathing in through the nose is used the cool the brain area down, that combined with the cold weather seems to make the sectioned area increase in pain.
sorry for such a long question....
What would be options for getting treatment for the pains? I am a victim and the police have not helped nor have the doctors..

My ex-husband has a plate on the left side of his head, and we would constantly be battling migraines. Sometimes he would take Naproxen to help with the swelling and the pressure. Most of the time, he would use heat to help relax. If you are not allergic to it, Motrin will help with the swelling pressure. If you can handle it, try taking 2 pills every two hours. It would really help when my husband would have his episodes. Also, try hanging out in a dim lit room.
Hope it helps.

Your last blood test showed high creatine, which can give you headaches, tension and clenching of the teeth.
