I wanted to know whether or not I would need headgear. I have a class I overbite (or whatever term is used for that-I forget) and class II overcrowding on the top jaw only. It is the top teeth that are crowded, and I don't actually have any more jaw space. I have precisely enough room to allow the second molars. The front teeth on top are crowded. Please tell me whether or not this constitutes the need of headgear because nobody will tell me.

Do your front teeth look like bucked teath? Because i had to use a headgear for that then afterwereds braces. But i don't think you need one.

Orthodontic paintings includes braces, plates and retainers that are all on the interior the mouth and may restore maximum issues. Head equipment isn't frequently used except in severe circumstances to help align the jaw and remove lower than and over bites. If it change into usual orthodontic paintings, you'll not require headgear. nicely this is like that in Australia.

I doubt you'll actually get headgear. What you have doesn't sound like what i had. I originally had to wear headgear. Anyway, I'm not 100% sure, so at your next appointment, don't be scarred to ask your orthodontist if you need headgear. That's the best way to get the best answer.

Now, orthodontics only make you wear headgear at night. Before you would have to wear it all day and night. You probably need teeth pulled.

orthodontic headgaer?????
The most common treatment they are used for is correcting anteroposterior discrepancies - for instance the top teeth being too far forward relative to the lower teeth

depends on what technique your orthodontist uses. Head gears are given only, mostly in Edgewise.

ELIZABETH,

JUST ASK THE ORTHODONTIST AND HE/SHE WILL TELL YOU IF YOU NEED ONE AND WHY.
