The reality is, a decent price is what you are willing to pay and feel is a good value for money. That could vary considerably depending upon the instructor, discipline, school amenities, curriculum and so on.

I know of programs that will charge $10 a class, and others that will charge $250 a month. The only way to effectively assess this is to seek out the schools in your area and determine what they offer, how often classes are offered, and their tuition rates. You will then be able to work out an average for your area. Remember though, that a $90/month school that offers you flexible class times, multiple in school amenities, and extra-curricular activities may be a much better deal than the $20/month club that offers one class once a week. Only you can make those kinds of decisions.

If you find a school, like the instructor/s, like the students, and can afford the tuition rates - then it is a decent price. Of course, you can compare it to the other schools in your area and assess the options at the school against those offered by their competitiors - but the bottom line is - you should select a school that you want to train in, look forward to attending, and feel welcomed in.

Good luck

This answer really relies on location location location u can go to the ghetto and get a class for 30 to 80 bucks a month and its grade A martial Arts but you can also go to the OC and train at another studio for triple that and get the same thing so it really depends on the location and the publicity if they have any

I have heard of people paying $125 a month and as little as $30-40.

You also have to watch out that the person is a good, knowledgeable teacher.

What is the use of paying $125 for a teacher who is terrible.
