It is said that God put us on this earth for a reason, right? Well, if what Christians say is true that God is 'all-knowing' than of course he knew that we were going to question his existence eventually. He knew that people would stop believing, that people would start questioning Him. However, if God loves each and every one of His so called 'children' then why would he consider it a sin for you to be questioning His existence? He knows that it's only natural that it was bound to happen. Read your book. You are not sinning. You are being human.

Not necessarily but you must recognize that you can easily fall into sin by advancing in reading it and potentially accepting what the book says. Effectively that God does not exist.

All in all, it's not a book which will help you advance spiritually. That's for sure.

God bless you.
