It depends on the situation, but usually I hardly notice. Being a cashier is an underpaid, nearly thankless job. If they're having a bad day, it may be they're at their rope's end. I'm educated, comfortable, and work as much or as little as I want. I can take some rudeness from those whose luck does not measure up to mine. It helps keep me humble.

Usually I'm pretty understanding -- I'm a retail cashier myself, it's a rather difficult job, really. I can understand why a cashier might not be in the happiest mood.

Nothing, who gives a flip if someone is rude to me? I won't remember in a month and If it's reoccurring, I would just avoid that cashier.

I don't care as long and they don't try to cheat me. I rarely say more than a few words to the cashier. And I usually have no reason to care about how they feel.

Usually nothing. Cashier's make very little money and deal with a lot of stress. I just pay and go away.

What's your point?

Probally nothing. I would be suprised and later realize that the person was probally having a bad day.

If you mean the person was prejudice then I would confront him/her.

I would tell the manager and if I do not receive satisfaction, I will never shop there again.

I ignore it, if you get angry over every jackass in the world, you're gonna have a very unhappy life. Much easier to ignore it.
