I want to make some cookie trays for adults. I am looking for some cookies that are not as sweet as most. I already have recipes for biscotti and a chai shortbread. Do you have any tried and true "adult" cookie recipes?

I don't have a recipe, but I'm sure you could google a recipe for madeleines. They are French cookies that are less sweet than American cookes. Also, I think meringue cookies are less sweet.

What makes you think that we adults don't like really sweet cookies!?!

I make frosted sugar cookies, Mexican wedding cakes, choc chip, oatmeal raisin, and butterscotch cookies as well as cranberry date bars every Christmas season. I think my nephew would disown me if I didn't!
