Well as you could guess, that particular question has to have factors behind it. Like what is the mind-set of the person holding the gun? If it is a cop, no he or she will probably not shoot you. If it is an unstable person with mental problems you better get ready to run.
I once knew a Christian who worked in a 24 hr 7-11 store. At about 1 am a guy came in with a 357 magnum pistol and demanded all his cash. This clerk smiled and said, and this is no joke, "You can't kill me, the worst you can do is send me to heaven--go ahead and shoot, you're not getting a cent from me". The gunman was so freaked out he stormed out of the store. I happen to be a Christian, but this guy would have ended up with every cent I had, but people are different.

In the movies, the bad guy seldom shoots because he always has second thoughts, really doesn't want to shoot, has an unloaded gun, or realizes that shooting you will be trouble for him.
In real life, encouraging someone to shoot you when the gun is already pointed will probably get you shot. I'd avoid anything that might even remotely upset the person with the gun or encourage them to do what they're already ready to do (or they wouldn't be pointing the gun at you).

Because even the smallest caliber pistol barrel (Less than 1/4" {.22"}) is going to look
like one of those big guns on the side of a battleship when you are looking down the barrel...Knowing that death is a little unseen piece of lead at the other end!!!
2.If they have gone to the trouble of carrying around a loaded weapon.....Somewhere during the process they have already asked the same question....

Depends on the guy with the gun.....I would say they wouldn't shoot but who knows.

I think there is so many nutty people in the world I wouldn't put it past someone to really shoot you If they are tempted.

doubt it. most likely they would think you are crazy for wanting to be shot, and walk away :)
most people who point w/o shooting, never wanted to shoot in fhe first place.
