I believe you are referring to the temporomandibular joint or commonly referred to as TMJ. Check this site for more information on the structure of the joint.

The muscle under there is called the "Medial Pterygiod" it is one of the muscles that aids in the attachment and movement of your jaw.

IF YOU'RE SPEAKING OF THE AREA WHERE THE LIPS FROM THE UPPER JAW CONNECT TO THE LOWER, THAT'S KNOWN AS THE ORAL COMISSURE.
THERE IS A BUNDLE OF MUSCLES THERE FROM A MUSCLE CALLED THE ORBICULARIS ORIS.

If u r referring to the area at end of ur last molar in ur lower jaw, its called retromolar pad. ur qn is not vry clear.
