I have no other issued id and didn't think of this cause this is a last minute trip.

I just called the airlines that I will be using and they said as long as I have a Social Security card and a debit card with my name on it from my bank, I should be fine. She said to allow extra time for them to search me..lol

See website below for other I.D. that United Airlines accepts. you can also CALL yur airline to verify what they will accept.

YES. This just happened to my husband. (He flies American.) They looked at his expired Drivers License and then Security put a "No ID" on his ticket. He had to go through a rigorous pat down and a very thorough search of his bag. But he did get to fly.

Yeah I'd definitely get a new one. You need an ID, and an expired one will not do unless you have a temporary license to go along with it (which you get when you renew it).

Expired = invalid. Better get to the DMV before your flight leaves or you're not going anywhere.

well, if it's expired - then it's not valid

and you could be in the line to go back home
