Alright. I have a problem. I'm only ever interested in guys that are 3 or 4 years older than me.
I think the boys my age don't have the mental capacity to handle my difficult and complex personality. Also, I'm just really mature, and most people think I'm 3 or 4 years older than I am upon meeting me.
I'm a teen, also. Early teens...

So what should I do? Should I go for the guys I like, even though they're old? Or should I just not date at all until the guys my age are smart?

Angel:

It's not that I think I'm too good for any of the boys my age. It's that I am bipolar, and thus I can be a handful sometimes.
A lot of days I just need someone who would be able to comfort me while I cry, and generally 14 year old boys aren't all that interested in that.

Also, I see peoples reasoning for not dating at a young age. I really do. But my reasoning makes more sense to me, therefore it is mine.
Why not date when you're younger? It's not like they're serious relationships; they simply don't matter. If you like someone when you're young, I think you should date. Because, like I said, it just doesn't matter.

How do you know none of the guys are up to your mental capacity, are you implying that your to good for anyone your own age....Speaking of which, If your in your early teens you shouldn't be dating in the first place... Also, even if you are mature, that doesn't necessarily mean your ready for a relationship... If you ask me, I would say your a immature brat ....(Sorry, that was rude -_-)

to a point age differences do not matter especially 3 or 4 years --- at your age 3 or 4 years is a big deal --- im assuming that you are below the age of consent --- therefore 3 or 4 years puts them over the age of consent and in big trouble, potentially, if they date you ---- best wishes

well age differences shouldn't matter, but how old are you really? early teens as in 13-14? then don't go for someone older than you. they will take advantage of you.
