Whenever people say "Osama is your leader!"
I always reply "Like how Hitler is yours"?
Then they get mad and say it's not their fault Hitler was evil?
Umm, Hello? Same thing for us muslims.
I got detetion for saying that.

Do you think they're simailar?
As in killing people for no flipping reason and showing their religons in a bad light.

Yeaaahhhh...
The Quran states to let other religons be, as in LEAVE THEM ALONE.
It says nothing about killing infidels, unless they attack you back. Thats the meaning of Jihad.
Why don't you stop watching CNN and actually research the religon? and BTW, your religon also thinks its better than everyone else. (Along with every religon in the world =])
In many muslim eyes, Osama is NOT following the quran. Some of you people are excatly like the kids in my school. Grow up please.

Oh yeah, scratch the "nothing about infidels being killed"
I meant, every religon has a "infidel" to kill.
Even christianity.
Sorry for the typo xD

No. Because Hitler got all of his teachings from the Bible, every belief Hitler held he could back up with scripture. Osama can't do that because he's just evil for whatever reason, but it isn't because of Islam.

EDIT: To mg - anti AM

There are many scriptures in the bible talking about killing Heathens. According to Christianity Jew's are Heathens (or at least according to bible following Christianity) therefore Hitler did what the bible told him

Boo-Yah

Hitler was far worse than Bin Laden.

He was responsible for millions of deaths of various groups in the concentration camps, but his aggression was responsible for about 70 million dead, directly or indirectly.

Bil Laden is is an amateur by comparison. But Hitler managed to get elected to be leader of a major industrial power.

Personally I do not hold religions responsible for the atrocities wrought by men. If Hitler had not been able to pick on the Jews he would have found some other group to vilify, rob and eradicate, as he did so with the gypsies, homosexuals, ethnic Poles and other Slavs, ethnic and POW Russians and other groups.

Similarly I imagine Bin Laden without religion would find some reason to hate America/Europe for some reason.

The difference is that, without religion, the true reasons for their envy, hatred and lust for power would be more obvious. It is much harder to persuade young men and women to blow up themselves and their fellow human beings without the option of religious zealotry.

Although Stalin managed a reasonable job on the basis of paranoia and national zealotry, so who knows.

Edit:
Phil B claims that Hitler was a Marxist! As in the renowned communist Marx? And he thinks you need to take a history lesson. He probably thinks that the word 'irony' means 'something that looks like iron' too!

Edit II
All the Abrahmic religions have texts that say:
Be nice to everyone.

And texts that say:
Kill all the unbelievers.

Torah, OT, NT andthe Qaran ALL have these sort of passages. Anyone who claims that 'all the other religions have nasty bits, but mine is snow white' are being very selective in their reading of their holy texts.

Being an atheist I have no text to defend here and can see all others in an equal light. I guess nobody likes been told that their dog is ugly. But that does not alter the reality of how their dog looks.

Quoted by BrotherMichael: "He was an ardent atheist."

That is not true. At the end of Volume I, Chapter II of "Mein Kampf" Hitler writes: "Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator, by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

There are other references to God throughout "Mein Kampf." Hitler may not have been a Christian, but he most definitely was not an Atheist.

Hitler was a master of deceit !!! Six million deaths to people who didn't know it was coming !!! They were deceived as well as his deceived countrymen !!! And don't think for one minute that he was a christan !!! He was a satanist !!! Read the following document !!!

read this:
Hitler wanted to enhance his occult powers further. He had already used the meditation techniques that he had learned about while studying the Eastern religions. But that proved too slow for him. Earnest Pretzsche, a used book dealer, introduced him to a psychedelic drug containing mescaline. This quickly produced clairvoyant visions that led Hitler to believed he had tapped into supernatural powers he could use for his own purposes.

After four years in Vienna, Hitler left and went to Munich. There he got involved with others who were dedicated to the pursuit of occult powers. That brings me to a little known fact. The original members of the Nazis (National Socialist Party) were hard-core satanists. It was the Nazis who led a willing Hitler into deeper levels of occult involvement. In fact, Dietrich Eckart, an occultist of the highest degree, and a practitioner of black magic, bragged before he died, "I have initiated him (Hitler) into the 'Secret Doctrine,' opened his centers in vision and given him the means of communication with the Powers...I shall have influenced history more than any other German." (Ravenscroft, p.91).

So what are the implications of this Satanic initiation? I believe it is here that Hitler had his demonic "new birth" and became totally demonized. From this point on, Hitler indeed did have demonic power. In fact, Eckart had told Hitler that he had received a satanic annunciation that he was to prepare the vessel of the Antichrist, the man who would be inspired by Lucifer to conquer the world and lead the Aryan race to glory. Hitler saw himself as that man.

But where did he get his ideas about the Aryan race? They came from the Thule Society. Thule was supposedly a lost island inhabited by an ancient race who were "masters of wisdom," who though unseen, were superior and highly intelligent. Hitler believed he was in contact with them and that they gave him power and energy. Through his alleged contacts with this mythical superior race, he believed he was destined to lead the Aryans to rule the world as Eckart had said.

Hitler was not a Christian although some people say that he is.

A Christian by definition is someone who has accepted Christ in his/her heart and maintains Christian values.

Hitler has done neither. He thought that Jesus was a blond-haired Nordic type "superman."

Hitler never approved of Christianity because it has Judaic roots. Even Himmler admitted his displeasure of Christianity, too.

Hitler and his Nazis identified mainly with a pagan-type Occult along with evolutionary "theories" about creating the ultimate "Aryan."

WRONG!!!

Jesus never issued any standing orders for all christians to "kill the infidels", like Muhammed did. In fact, Muhammed himself killed innocent people in the name of Allah. Jesus, however, did not. Therefore, when Hitler killed innocent people, he was not following the example set by Jesus, and therefore he was not being a true christian. But, when muslims kill the infidels in the name of Allah, they ARE following the example set by Muhammed, and therefore they ARE being true muslims. See the difference now?

Get a clue.

well, just a little off, as Hitler did not profess to be fighting a Holy war.... I don't think... More of an ethnic "cleansing" just as evil, of course, but I think most people can recognize that he is not a representative of christianity.

All leaders who use religious zealotry as their reason for killing, betray First: God, and then: Other, reasonable followers of that religion.

Hitler was a Marxist not a Christian. Hitler not only murdered millions of Jews but millions of Christians as well. You should study your history before you ask questions.
