as well as butt and thigh exercising using a machine with resistance. Suddenly, I get a really bad headache. I continue to work out but when I am done I have to take headache medicine. Any ideas or suggestions. I want to continue working out, but there is always a problem of some sort and I have to stop. If it is not chest pains, it is shortness of breath not headaches. I could never do a treadmill without getting dizzy so I moved on to something else. I cannot do any cardio exercises without blacking out. I need some help here... doctors cannot figure this out either.

I had to do a stress test lying down because I could do the treadmill.

Headaches can be triggered by numerous things. Too much caffiene or not enough, lack of water, stress. As you are working out its possible your blood pressure rises and if you have a blood vessel that blocked/pinched that certainly could be causing your problems. Certainly a CT scan or some test should locate the problem.
Could be that with your neck problem and surgery that the pain will always be a problem. Some injuries dont heal as well especially as we age.
Best of luck with your headaches.

Insist the doc give you 15 or 20 physical therapy appts to get help with your neck and other problem areas. you need to know what excercises you can safely do. After surgery (knee) I was supposedly to be able to be pain free, well hell, it took 9 months to be pain free. It was allot slower maybe because I was in my late 40s. I feel you should be getting a physical therapists input, insist doc writes it up for you. Massages too. Then try some alternative therapies, my insurance lets me do that.
