Oh... I so feel for you. I too am in that position. What I am doing now is taking Advil... do not exceed 6 in 24 hours. They should be 200 mg each. I also rinse every few hours with warm salt water. 1 tablespoon per cup of water. Also chew on some raw Garlic... it's a natural antibiotic. Hope that helps.

I hate to state the obvious but you never know, did you take any advil (ibuprofen) ? Un-less you have a medical condition that means you can't then start there. It will take awhile to work but it can't start until you take it.Now get yourself some ambusol, but first brush your teeth and then rinse with some warm salt water.(you probably have something down in a cavity and its caused an abscess)The salt water rinse and brushing are just in case its something like that and is also putting pressure on a nerve or something in which case you'll get immediate relief.Anyway now use ambusol.O-kay now you can also take a couple of Tylenol (yes at the same time)but you do need to have healthy liver and kidneys. Now I know you asked about home a remedy, but I don't know of any that worked, and I tried many in my desperation.I was poor and had very bad teeth, alot of times i didn't,t have money to have dental work for a week or more.I didn't have the benefit of Advil oh my gosh what a different world.I also just prayed for you.nothing to do but hang on till meds kick in.Unless you can't take it then go to the hospital they can give you better meds,I forgot you might be able to afford it.God bless, I truly hope you feel better soon. : )

i have tried ibuprofen and fast acting extra strength tylenol for tooth pain. the tylenol worked fast, but did not last as long as the ibuprofen. if you don't have any ibuprofen to take at home, try a warm salt water rinse. just 2 tablespoons of salt to an 8oz glass of water. rinse and spit untill the whole glass is gone. it will taste nasty, but it helps for a little bit.

Try 800mg of ibuprofen. This is what my dentist gave me for root canal pain and it worked good. You can buy it over the counter. Good luck.

if it is very painful, no medication will help. You have to go to the dentist to get the abscess drained either by extraction or by opening the canals.

You can rinse your mouth with peroxide this help pull the
infection out but beware just like when it hits a cut it will bubble up and it tastes bad and don't swallow. But it really does help
