When my daughter was 3 her cousin won her a huge (as in bigger than her) blue teddy-bear at the county fair. About 3 days later I walked into her room and she was on top of it {ahem} well, she was humping it. It took everything in me not to over-react. I didn't want her to be embarrassed or scared. I told her lunch was ready {that's why I went into her room in the first place} and thought it through. I very calmly asked her why she was squishing her new bear like that? She told me she had seen the monkeys at the zoo doing it! Now this trip to the zoo had been more than a month earlier, and neither her Dad or I remembered seeing any such thing. We are very strict about what she sees on TV, and sexual abuse is not an issue. I told her that I don't want her to squish he new bear like that because it might hurt him. {I'd rather tell her a white lie than to have her do it again in front of her grandparents!} I said it in a very no-big-deal voice and told her to hurry up and finish her lunch.
You don't want to do anything to shame her or embarrass her, this will come up again in the future and you want a very natural line of communication.

It is natural for 3 year-olds to become curious about their bodies. I am not sure what you mean by sexual with toys though. I would tell your 3 year-old where they can "explore"/ Such as the bathroom or their bedroom. It is best not to shame them about their bodies. Just be aware of what he/she is watching on TV.

She/he may have seen you with your partner, or god forbid, she/he could have been sexually abused & she's acting it out. There is nothing on tv around the times children that age are watching. Unless you let her/him stay up after the watershed watching tv, you had better start worrying.

She's imitating what she's seen, if shes seen you and you husband by accident, or if you let her be around the TV with not so great stuff on it. If there not a time when you remember her accidentally seeing something sexual, then i would be worried about molestation of some sort... thats a very strong sign of something happening..if she hasnt seen it elsewhere

Is your child masturbating with toys, yes alot of kids do
this mostly girls.
our is your child acting out sexually like scenes from tv if
this is the case you might want to distract her because
3 is to young to learn about sex.

YES IT CAN BE NATURAL. MY SON DID THE SAME THING WHEN HE WAS 4 AND I FELT LIKE THE WORST MOTHER EVER. I TALKED TO HIS PED. AND SHE SAID THAT IT WAS NORMAL. KIDS WATCH TV AND SOMETIME WHEN "SESAME STREET' OR "DORA THE EXPLORER" OR ANY EDUCATIONAL CHANNEL GOES ON A COMMERCIAL , YES OUR KIDS SEE THINGS THEY SHOULD'NT, BUT WE CANT HELP THAT(ESPECIALLY WITH THE SOCIETY WE LIVE IN NOW THESE DAYS!) AND YES YOUR KIDS ARE GONNA WALK IN ON YOU AND YOUR OTHER GETTING YOUR FREAK ON IN THE BEDROOM BUT, IT HAPPENS. KIDS ARE LIKE SPONGES, AND KIDS ARE GONNA ACT OUT WHAT THEY SEE, WHETHER ITS ON TV OR AT SCHOOL, DAYCARE, STORE, GRANDMAS,ECT. THEY'RE BOUND TO ACT IT OUT ON TOYS OR ON EACH OTHER! BUT IT IS NOT SOMETHING TO BE IGNORED!! ALSO(SORRY IF THIS MAY CRUSH YOU) IT COULD ALSO BE SIGN OF SEXUALLY ABUSE!! THATS HOW I WAS ABLE TO EXPLAINA AND SHOW THAT I WAS BEING MOLESTED WHEN I WAS A CHILD. BUT JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT!!!!!

Yes they all do this, they watch to much darn tv! As long as they are just going through the motions and not taking it to the point where they are putting things IN things they should not, that would not be normal.

No, I really dont think it is. Look at who /what they could be getting this from. Granted if youre having them watch that Tila Tequila show on MtV, meyabe they're getting it from that. But they're getting it from something.

It depends on what you mean by sexually, and what age/gender are you asking about? There is not enough info to answer this, sorry.
