You: "Hey, Sally, can I have your phone #?"

Sally: "Sure - it's 555-1234".

It works every time - unless her name isn't Sally, of course - then you just look silly.

Seriously - you don't need to use any fancy, smooth, or cool line. Just ask. If you try to come off as someone who's suave and debonair, or if you try to use some slick line, she'll see right through it. Just be yourself, and you'll do fine.

In your conversations on the bus, you can ask her if it OK to call her at home. If she says yes, well she should write down her number and you should ask when the best time to call is. This is really simple.

How about opening with, "We should hang out sometime." And if she responds positively, then ask if she has a cell phone, which will lead to getting her number. Or, just offer your number to her. Good luck!

Just ask her. Start a conversation and before she gets off at her stop or you at yours say that you want to finish your conversation and could you maybe get her phone number or better yet give her yours :)

Hey hun this is all really simple. All you have to do is say, "What's your phone number?" It seems like it wouldn't work but it works better then those silly cheesy lines like "I lost my number, can I have yours" and things like that. Something simple is all it takes and good luck!
