The most reserved ones tend to be more aggressive. My Italian Greyhound can become very hostile towards strange people so I have to make him wear a muzzle when out on walks. Also the livestock guardian dogs such as Anatolian Shepherds and Kuvasz don't care for strangers much.

Mentally unstable, fearful, unsocialized dogs. Of course, they also usually come with a whole host of other behavioral problems that owners don't want to deal with either.
For the record, a dog that acts aggressively towards strangers with no provocation is NOT going to make a good protection or guard dog. These dogs are more likely to turn tail and run than to risk their lives to save yours. Their aggressive displays are all a big act, designed to scare away something that scares them. A well-socialized, well-adjusted, confident dog is most likely to protect their owners or property from threats by strangers.

There is no one breed that will be more aggressive towards strangers, so the only real answer I can give you is "unsocialized ones"

I'm not a biased person here, because I love every kind of dog and that every dog can be agressive toward strangers, but I really feel that the following can be most aggressive:
Pit Bulls
Rotweillers
German Sheperds
In my opinion it's because they are territorial and they are protectors, but that's just my opinion. : )

I just wanted to say to the person who wrote that Pitt Bulls attack. I have 2 a female a male and also a new pup. It is all in how they are raised. My Pitts are the best dogs I have ever had and I would not have anything else. Any dog can be trained. But, if you get a Pitt you have to disipline it and teach it from a pup as you would any dog.

It really depends on the individual dog rather than a breed.
