I can of mushroom soup
a little bit of milk
* Just enough milk should be added to make the mixture creamy without being too watery.
* Add a dash of salt and pepper and add in two cans of drained green beans and then mix them.
*Bake in an oven at 350 for 25 minutes.
Take dish out.
mix in around 1 cup of fried onions (French's are the yummies, especially the cheddar cheese ones)
Top with nice layer of fried onions.
Bake in the oven for another 5 minutes at the same temperature.

GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
30 ounces green beans, canned, drained*
10 3/4 ounces Cream of Mushroom Soup
3/4 cup milk
2 3/4 ounces French-fried onions
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Combine green beans, soup, milk, pepper and 1/2 of the onions; gently stir together to mix well. Spread mixture in a 1 1/2 to 2 quart ovenproof casserole dish.
Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Top with remaining onions. Bake 5 minutes more.
Note: *May substitute 18 ounces frozen cut green beans, thawed and drained.
Serving Size: 6

If you want to take the "basic" green bean casserole over the top saute' bacon and onions and toss the green beans ...and melt about 6oz of velveta cheese into the milk and cream of mushroom mixture and then pour over beans...and omit the soy....(The original green bean casserole recipe is ..
Ingredients:
1 can Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. soy sauce
Dash ground black pepper
4 cups cooked cut green beans
1 1/3 cups French Fried Onions
Directions:
MIX soup, milk, soy, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in 1 1/2-qt. casserole.
BAKE at 350°F. for 25 min. or until hot.
STIR . Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake 5 min.

A basic one is to mix 2 cans cut green beans with 1/2 lb browned ground round mix with 1-1/2 cups seasoned croutons and stir in 1 can of cream soup (mushroom,onion,cheese) any cream soup. mix well pour into caserole.Sprinkle a few crushed crountons on top &.Sprinkle some sreadded cheese over it and Bake for 15 mins or untill cheese is melted in a 350 oven

you find it on the onion can
preheat oven to 350 degrees
take 2 cans of green beans - drain and place in bowl
combine 1 can of Cream soup (celery, mushroom,chicken) with a 1/2 cup of sour cream
pour soup slurry over beans
put 2/3 of fried onion in and STIR mixture carefully
put in oven for 30-35 minutes - till bubbly
remove and add rest of can as topping
back in oven for 5 more minutes
serve and smile
(SORRY it took so long - my son's band was just on national TV - they were the back up to a party on Hot Shots)

You need thoes crunchy fried onions,canned green beans,and cream of mushroom soup.The exact recipe is on the back of the soup can if you buy Campbells otherwise it may be on the back of the onion can.Good luck and wish I had some right now!

acouple drained cans green beans, 1can mushroom soup 1/2cup milk 1teaspoon soy sauce and frenchs fried onions in a container. heat up soup and milk, mixin with beans and soy sauce, throw in some dry fried onions put in a casserole dish. sprinkle onions around perimeter on top. bake till hot 15 min 350. (can sprinle some grated cheddar in there if you like)

The correct proportion is two cans of green beans to one can of mushroom soup. If you do one of each it will come out too 'soupy'
