Point in any direction and you are pointing to the shortest way around the Universe.....
Each religion has a piece of "Ultimate Truth" but does not have all of it.
This is why many Pagans do NOT try to convert people and openly acknowledge that our religions are not for everyone

It logically cannot. So Jesus set the standard. He is the way, truth & life. No man comes to God except on the Path of Jesus.
He rejected all other religions. After considering the spiritual principals contained in the Bible, I found my place.
I am defiantely a sinner - ask my wife.
I am definately created -- logic & mathematics prove this.
I am definately saved -- I have place my faith in the Death of Jesus Christ on the Cross for my personal horrible wicked sinfulness.
I am trying to glorify God with my life by serving Him.
This is the path I have chosen. I have studied a lot of other paths. But on every other path, I have to submit myself to the authority of some man, somewhere down the line.
In the non-protestant, non-catholic churches like the one I attend, we answer to no man. The Bible is our sole authority and Jesus is the Head of our Church.

Absolute certainty is the path of fools. Look no further than Pat Robertson and his boyfriend, Jerry Falwell.

There are no absolutes where religion is concerned; the only thing a person can be absolute about is their commitment to a particular religion or belief.

It's one of the most basic human traits: we mistake "Our Truth" for "The Truth". All human knowledge is limited by our own finite and contingent perspectives. People tend to deny their own limitations out of pride or ignorance or both.
In the case of "revealed" truth, like what is claimed for Christianity, people will say that it is not human knowledge but divine knowledge bestowed from God. But even if that's true (and I won't concede that it is), the "divine knowledge" still has to be comprehended and communicated by finite human beings.
We would all be better off if we could humbly admit that we don't know it all, that we don't possess absolute truth, and that we're better off pooling our finite perspectives together than trying to shove our perspective onto others.
Peace to you.

No one can say that their path is right for all. They can only honestly say that it is the right path for them at this moment.
(((VC))) I missed you!
