No, you do not have to be a U.S. Citizen to join the U.S. Air Force, or any other branch of the military.

You don't even have to live here to join. Many people's first trip to the U.S. is their flight to enter the military and go to Basic Training.

Speak with an Air Force recruiter.

you have to apply for citizenship and you can sign up for the military. But only for a certain amount of time. If your citizenship is approved you can stay in longer. Also, if you are not a citizen you cannot get your security clearance which severly limits what jobs you can do. However you can get an interim clearance. Basically the commander vouches for you until you get your full clearance.

If you get naturalized, yes. I live near a large AF base and see lots of foriegn born airmen.

I think the only way they won't take you is if you are here illegally.

well if youve been naturalized you should be able to join the air force. lol if your here illegaly bro then no your not going to get in.
