If the number of gods is "X", then for (X - 1) gods, man created them, That one remaining God, you know, the real one is who created man. The true God created everything, but was not created, because He always is. (yes, IS not WAS) He lives in a permanent present tense since time and space are things He invented for us to try to understand things. He's not restricted by those.

and the questions can go on and on from there. when you believe in God you sort of have to have a kind of blind faith. An ability to believe without any true factual information, like seeing God with your own eyes or having him on film. There are no definites when it comes to religion or your belief in God, or how man was created or how God was created. We just know that he exists and helps us get through our day intact. Faith is an ability to just believe and some people can't do that. No one person created God in each religion, God is there. It's just the interpretation of God that is different in each religion.

Why does the creator have to be a "who"? Perhaps gods evolve from spiritual energies running throughout the universe. Perhaps they were created in the same event that created the universe. Perhaps their creation comes from a process rather than an intelligent creator.

People created gods to provide explanations for the unexplainable (lightning, earthquakes, snakes slithering, so on).
Who created people? The forces of the universe did.

Gods are concepts that people created to control the ignorant masses and their behavior effectively.
Gods do not exist as separate entities. There is absolutely no evidence to support the existence of any god.

Dude, no one created God. God is the Creator and human minds aren't programmed to understand anything much more complicated than that. God has no helper, creator, or family.
God is God.

People who wanted to make up answers for nature's wonders created gods. Those people basically evolved from microscopic organisms long ago.

the gods basically created themselves from what I understand. At least in Christianity, God was just chilling there until he decided to make us. So he was there from the get go.
