Reason being is that this girl suddenly, out of no where said she loved me. Ive been trying to get her to not like me and then she went away crying. i felt extremely guilty for i thought (and still think) shes flirting. im not sure exactly which one it is. Everyone said that she does love me, but i dont believe them. If i believe them well, lets not see what happens. if she doesn't love me i look like a paranoid jerk.

If the person is someone you've just met or don't really know, it's flirting. Love takes time to grow. Flirting is fleeting. Love is always.

If they love you then they will obviously have spent a countless number of hours with you and probably know tons about you. Love is a strong word, you can't love someone if you see them and start flirting with them all the sudden for the first time. You have to get to know them really well. Love takes time, sometimes a LOT of time. We'll just call the other thing LUST.
Lust: thinking you love someone after flirting with them once.
Love: a process over time. When two people who have become great friends over time and care enough about each other to sacrifice anything for them.

A certain guy didn't give up on asking me out for 3 weeks. I thought he's the most stubborn person I've ever met. One day, I got fed up and I just said yes... We are now living together and very happy. That's how I found out that he really loves me.
It's called patience. :)

okay first if someone really has feelings for you and they love you they would get the guts to tell you that they love you. and to be able to tell if someone is flirting with you if it was a girl they would giggle when you say something that isn't even funny, they would twirl their hair around their finger, they would think of some excuse to talk to you. for example: she would ask you for a homework assignment, even though she already has it.

if the person loves you is really really difficult to say. you can tell it later in the relationship. And the person tells you that but it needs time. but it's not that difficult to see if somebody likes you. the answer is simple: body language. When the person looks you with that glance in the eye...

wow, what a DIFFERENCE!!! uumm well the truth is flirting is small talk and in love is when you would die for the person, you didnt give info. in your situation so I cant recognize if its one or the other, plus if they are, they would tell you/you'll know and probably love 'em back :D

I try not to rely on my thoughts when I think someone is flirting w/ me .. I try to focus on what ppl around me say.. if they're like he's hitting on you.. then i know it's not just me...
