What if the year now is 10,000 and there is no "the last day" happening yet, what would you think?

It is late 2007 now and we are heading there.

I think in the year 10,000 there will still be someone on the street corner with a "The end is near" sign.

I wouldn't think anything. I'd be dead.

And the year 10,000 is a LONG way away. We may be heading there, but we are heading toward any year greater than 2008. We are heading to the year 2,000,000, but that doesn't mean I can make any predictions about something so far in advance.
