Body chemistry is a strange critter. My mother could not eat eggs as an entree. She could eat them when they were ingredients in food like in bread, cake, or other baked goods. But, as an entree; instant diarrhea. I mean instant, within 5 minutes, she was on the toilet. I don't have the problem nor does my brother. My female sibling and I are estranged so I don't know about her but she was fine when she was 35 years old.

I have noticed since I was diagnosed with diabetes I eat much less in the carbohydrate realm and more protein. I have considerably fewer bowel movements.

BTW, age or some significant medical thing can change your body. Turn 50 lately, did you quit smoking, go vegetarian, have surgery or anything like that?

Everything here is a guess. If it becomes a problem see the doctor for a checkup.

I'm not sure why avocados would make you costipated because they have a lot of fiber. Carbs would not make you bloated or constipated because they have fiber, and protien seems to have the same affect. Fast food is full of transfat and will probably make you constipated, as it would for most people

I think that perhaps you are gluten intolerant. That is being unable to properly digest products containing gluten.
You can read about it online and a change in your diet choices when eating away from home might make a huge difference!
