They better not, Revelation says NOTHING will be added.

Those who change the message in the Bible are not Christians. Christians know that the last words in Revelations and the Bible says that no one is to change it, and there will be dire consequences for those who do. There have been errors made in translations to the modern Bible from the original texts. These errors are primarily misinterpretation and use of certain words which may have dual meanings.

True Christians should not be adding or taking anything away from what the Bible says. The message is the same no matter what other people say.

This is the difference between a book written by a man and a scroll given to man by God All-wise.

At first place, New Testament was never in place until 300 AD. It was mostly compiled by the Greeks. The New Testament is more about the events in the days of Jesus. There are plenty of versions of Bible that are found in Vatican Church.

As a man written book is always in need of improvement so does they have to keep chaning Bible (The New Testament) with the time. Whatever, still I consider it to be a Book of God, All-wise, All-aware.

Earliest estimates of the begining of biblical writings start with portions of the Psalms in the 10th century BCE. Who's writings from the 10th century BCE have you found to obtain the original message of the bible? As I understand it, everyone after that, including other biblical authors, would not be "the original message", but would be alterations and additions to it.

Adding to the message? Well that depends on each's own individual definition.

We all interpret things differently. The "message" for some may not mean the same thing as it does to someone else.

Isn't that the truth! the Lord's
message is so simple. He even said, "My yoke is simple,
my burden is light". And yet,
denominations, preachers,
whole groups of people, add
the rules, the ifs, the ands,
the sometimes, and the maybes.
If I hear another christian say to me, "Maybe God bla
bla bla" My God is not a "maybe" God.
What I decided to do many
years ago was to establish
my faith on Jesus and simply
ignore the rest of it. If I get
out of Line, the Lord will tell me, but He spoils me so much, I don't even get out of
line very often.

1. Our God-given Spiritual Liberty in our Master Jesus Christ

2. He the Spirit of Truth here continuously leads us into ALL TRUTH. See John 16:7-16

3. More books of the continuing spiritual miracles of Jesus Christ here with us must be written See John 20:28-31 and 21:25

There are other reasons, but the above should be sufficient for all Truth lovers here.

Peace and progress,

Yeah, it's funny...the Israelites swore an oath not to give their daughters as wives to the Benjamites, but then went to war and killed all of the people of Jabesh Gilead but their virgins. They then took the virgins and gave THEM to the Benjamites.

But 400 young virgin women were not enough for the Benjamites, so they instructed the Benjamites to steal the women of Shiloh to complete their complement of virgin women (so that each man could have his own). They did this to sidestep their oath taken by their god. Obviously, they followed the "rules" to the very letter, and they didn't say to themselves "Wait, wouldn't this go against the purpose of the oath?"

It's not that way anymore. These days, Christians can't cite any scripture that says that lesbianism is wrong, so they stretch to their utmost ability and say that Romans 1:26-27 proves that lesbianism is wrong.

I guess the point is that followers of the Abrahamic deity tend to bend information to fit their needs just like a blacksmith makes a suit of armor.

Why? Because that's what they've ALWAYS done.

Can you give an example of how a Christian, according to you, adds to the original message?
The only 'Christians' I know of that do that, are the Mormons, who have the Book of Mormon!

people might make a mistake and say the wrong message. the original message in the Bible probably has more meaning. u don't want to give ur knowlege to people you want to give God's knowlege to people so your interpretation isn't good enough.
