if you like a boy alot and he liked you back ....... but everyone else hated him including your prarents so they told you you couldnt talk to him ...... because they heard somethings that werent true so now they dont like him ........ but they have never met him only saw him once ........... ( the things they heard was that he was using me for sex)

OK. I'll give you that your parents may not know this guy. But your parents have your best interest at heart. I can't say what your parents have or haven't heard, or where it came from. But they aren't doing this just to make you unhappy.

As for your friends - they probably know more about this guy than your parents. And if most of the people who care about you (HINT: YOUR FRIENDS) think you should avoid this guy -- you probably should.

Think of it this way: Why would your friends (who have been there for you through good times and bad) want you to stay away? They have nothing to gain by saying this, do they? And even if everything your family and friends heard wasn't true -- of it is. And so, they are looking out for you.

Well, just take your parents' views into consideration, parents tend to be right about a lot of things. Then weigh your options. You willing to risk what they think for how you feel?

If anything ask your parents to trust your judgment and allow you to see him. Maybe ask if they'd want to compromise and set up some rules, example, you only see him when they are home. Once they get to know him you never know they might come around.

My step brother is a good guy but his girlfriends parents ruined what people think about him he's a "broke a** no life who can't get a job and is only with her for the sex and money" but she knows who he really is and have been together with him for longer then i can remember one day they are getting married. If you like him, and trust him go for it
