Well it depends on how you look at it. You could take it as a compliment that you are so beautiful that a complete stranger took a chance or just as some creepy guy. I know I could never do that, I am way too shy, but I wish I could. There probably been many times in my life that I felt like "Oh my gosh, she is gorgeous! I need to say hi." Alas, I never do. Perhaps that is why I am still single. I say good for him by putting himself on the wire and trying. Or I guess, he just may be a creep. But who knows, some guys can look nice but end up being not what you expected. Take care.

Hmm,
maybe he thought you we're cute, and was just trying to start polite conversation?
Or he couldve been a complete freak. You never know, till you find out.
Sometimes you just gotta give things a shot, even if it is talking to a complete stranger. Atleast you were on a bus, and not in an ally!

I don't think it's strange. He probably thought that you were pretty and he really did want to know your name. It's better than one of those stupid..."hey baby..." things. I hate those guys. I like getting attention from the guys who simply ask..."Hi, how are you?" Or like what this guy said to you, he asked your name. It doesn't make me feel like a piece of meat.

He may have been interested and trying to start a conversation. When he asked your name and you said no...he figured the door was closed. If you would have given him your name, you may have been in a conversation with him.

Because he wanted to know your name. He seems like he was following the right steps; you were in the wrong to be so rude. Don't worry, he probably won't ask you again.

he was either just trying to be friendly and wanted a chat on a bus ride or he thought you were cute

um...because he was probably leading you on, you know, to ask you out. next time, try being more elusive. tell him "you first" if he's real open, return the favor. honey, it's easy. don't be so uptight. not everyone out there is a rapist.
