Pomp in the front and the rest straight and down. I couldn't stand my hair being down all the time but the pomp really helped a lot because the hair isn't all over my face, just on the sides.
Half up half down with side bangs is also cute =]

a layered cut would be nice. I usually keep my hair shoulder length and get it layered. Depending on if you have a a small or big forehead consider doing something with your bangs. I don't like really short bangs cuz they tend to get in my way so i usually keep them long. If you have a big forehead then you can do something with your bangs. If you have a small forehead leave your bangs long. Consider side bangs maybe. Contact your hairstylist they usually know what looks best on you or not.
I know it already aired but you may want to google or youtube today's oprah show about celebrity hairstylists. They gave new looks to some women. Check it out. i can't find the episode yet but im sure it will be posted sooner or later.

u can pull up the front part of our hair into a little bump thing, for the life of me i don't know what the name of it is. it starts with a p. use a head band. either skinny or thick. put your hair in velcro rollers after you blow dry it for volume and then run some shine serum through it to get rid of the frizzies. hope this helps.
and if you even want to change it up more you could try going to a salon and doing some swoopy bangs the side, just below your eyebrow. that brightens up everything.

You could do the classic pony tail, wear a clip, use a bun,, wear it back but leave a couple strands in the front (works best with bangs) etc. If you can't think of anything I would just wear it down with it brushed out.
