Jehovah God does not create natural disasters.

(1 John 5:19) 19 We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one. . .
Satan is controlling this Earth and all the problems we see on Earth today are part of what he is doing.
And Biblethumper is right.
(Deuteronomy 32:4) . . .The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness, with whom there is no injustice; Righteous and upright is he.

It amazes me that God gets the blame for every disaster that happens. In the book of Job it says that Satan set a tornado and destroyed jobs family and livestock, he caused sickness, also some of these disasters are caused from the times we are living in. The earth is crying out to be renewed, The Bible Say's this would happen but people just ignore it and get more cold.

Well God is the great punisher in the sky...He got so ticked off at the world that he flooded the earth and killed every single person (supposedly) Personally I believe we were all created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster...FSM doesn't kill.

Natural = Law God ... awful lawful
Spiritual = Grace God ... merciful

Law: Destructive (WRATH)... fear
Grace: Constructive (Mercy)... peace

So then we'll go with Grace for an eternity.
But to establish Grace we have to flush law.
For law worketh wrath makes grace no more grace.

Great question!

I find it convenient that fundamentalist Christians attribute certain "disasters" with God, and others to random chance.

man's words, and satan hiding his existance from man.(James 1:13) 13 When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.

(Ephesians 2:1-2) 2 Furthermore, [it is] YOU [God made alive] though YOU were dead in YOUR trespasses and sins, 2 in which YOU at one time walked according to the system of things of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit that now operates in the sons of disobedience.

Luvmyfam; who was paul calling ruler of the air?
Satan is very happy when we underestimate him and blame God for Evil.

Because even if you buy the god-myth, he invented satan, and does nothing to stop him though he supposedly could, and is thus responsible for all his acts.

It seems to me that God has control over the natural elements-he created them. Satan seems to have a grip on the "sin" side of things(for now).
