I am trying to look up my vehicle history through carfax with my vin number but it keep saying invalid vin number. What the heck is that about? Can it be because there is no record or it's too brand new? I don't understand this. Help....

Your vehicle should come up on Carfax database. As soon as a title or registration is processed, there is an "event" that should appear.

More than likely you are entering a wrong character.
Double check the VIN & re-enter.

Remember that VINs NEVER use the LETTERS "i" or "O" ... they DO use the NUMBERS "1" & "0"...
You may have typed a letter O, rather than the number 0,(?)
or you may have typed the letter i instead of the number 1

(It is a common mistake to type a wrong character for a VIN & it will not accept it....

the car has never been entered into the data base of carfax.i believe if you have never had any accidents or insurance claims, the vehicle will not be in the database.

RETRY IT BECAUSE ALL VEHICLES WILL COME UP REGISTERED OR NOT.
