Accidently killing some one by mistake when you shell an area or drop bombs is not quite the same as murder or killing them on purpose. Even at that probably have not killed as many as Al qaeda-you have to add the civilians they have murdered in Iraq and Afganistan to the U.S. civilians and see who is higher. The car bombs in Iraq killing most of the civilians are not being planted by American troops. But the key thing is murder is purposeful and manslaughter is accidental and they are two completely different ball games; I have heard the U.S. apologize for the killing of innocent civilians; haven't heard anything but gloating from Al Qaeda. I feel absolutely no outrage about it at all; and they are the real terrorist.

In war people die. That is a fact. In this war the enemy hides within the civilian homes and businesses. The enemy is the enemy. We try to prevent as many civilian deaths as possible.
During World War ll the German's bombed London and killed civilians was this justified? England, Russia, and America bombed German cities to end the war, was this justified? I believe the answer is yes to both answers. The German's were looking to demoralize the British. The Allies were trying to end German war production which was in cities.
I only have outrage that you call this murder. Look up the word Murder and the words Civilian Casualty in an International Law Book on Warfare. Get back to me when you learn the right answer.

Its not ok. But your wrong. The U.S. isnt out to kill civilians. Thats not how we do things. Is it our fault that the enemy is so cowardly that they set up command posts next to schools and hospitals and heavily populated public areas? Sure we sometimes screw up. Who dosent? We are doing our best to avoid it. Do you think that they care? Do you honestly think Al Qaeda cares about the Iraqi and Afghani people? If your going to get on the civilian side and criticize the military for killing lots of civilians then get your facts straight. If i recall its the terrorists not us blowing s h i t up in the middle of roads and next to mosques. Its them not us who hide behind and use the local people as a shield. Making them throw gernades at our convoys, this including women and children, in exchange for food and water. So what do you do when you get a gernade thrown at you? You defend yourself. You kill whoever threw it. But all the cameras see is one of our soldiers killing a civilian. Thats all that they see. Thats all YOU assume happened. War is never pretty and flawless. Mistakes happen. But thats all they are. Mistakes. It never helps to criticize our own troops. It wont bring anyone back. And even if we were to somehow be perfect and WE never killed any civilian ever again. They would still end up dying as a war cassualty. By who? The enemy.

Get your facts straight.
Yes civilians have been killed and injured due to U.S. Operations, and yes we have had some rogue Soldiers commit crimes against Iraqis.
But consider this, Far fewer have died from U.S. actions than from the thousands of Car bombs, backpack bombs and other IEDs that have decimated the Iraqi population. These deliberate attacks on civilians are form Al Qaeda in Iraq, former Bathe party members, Shiites trying to kill Sunnis and Sunnis trying to kill Shiites, and both of them trying to kill Kurds.
regarding those rogue Soldiers who have committed crimes against Iraqis, they are dealt with as criminals and are tried and when convicted served prison time for their actions. That behavior is NOT tolerated by the U.S. Military, and anyone who tells you it is is a liar.
The sooner Al Qaeda in Iraq, and all the rest of the terrorists stop killing Iraqi citizens and start building a strong and peaceful Iraq, the sooner we will gladly load our vehicles and weapons on ships and return home!
Nobody abhors war more than the American Soldier, but we prosecute war to ensure freedom and security for whoever yearns for it on this Earth.

To be killed is to die, and to be murdered is to die, the first word does not define a purposeful intent, the second one does.
Are you claiming to have factual knowledge of your own personal experience that US troops regularly intend to murder civilians on a large scale, and do it as a matter of formal policy, (you know like Al Qaeda)?
Does the opposition bear no blame that they intentionally use their own citizens as a deliberate human shield, with the intent to cause harm to their fellow Muslims or countrymen?
I suggest you immediately board a plane to SW Asia and stop this terrible transgression if you feel so strongly about it!

You have to be able to prove murder Troll,
Until proof is supplied in a court of law and a conviction obtained there has been no murder only alleged murder.
I notice you conveniently do not mention the Iraqi on Iraqi deaths caused by suicide bombers and religious sectarian fanatics.

First of all War is hell. The sad part is civilians can and do sometimes get caught in the cross fire. However, one of the tactics of the insurgents is to take the weapons off of their fallen comrades. Lo and behold we just killed an 'unarmed' man. Don't believe everything you see on tv.

The US is not the one doing the killing in Iraq. Al Qaeda is the one setting bombs off. Get the truth and be free.
