Situation is as follows:
I have orders to go from Ft Lewis, WA to Ft Benning, GA by March. Issues are that it is where my first wife died and not a fond place I'd like to go back to and the house I have here would cost me about $10,000 more than I have, to sell, for the move. Renting isn't an option it comes up $450 less than what my mortgage is. I can find a job for my rank on post with an acceptance letter. I've been to Iraq twice and ain't scared to go back if called. The position I'm going to in GA is a schooling job. In a time where they are trying to find people to fight that have been hiding do you think I would have trouble getting them to let me stay for one more three year rotation and delete my orders? How? Why? Ect....

Chaplain is a good suggestion. Seems like your chain of command and NCO support channel would be interested and sympathetic too.

See the chaplain. Also send your grievance through the chain of command and of course the NCO Support Channels to see what you can do, if anything.

Don't go back to Iraq. The world opposes this war. I respect soldiers but believe you should not be there. Contact Iraq Veterans against the war for more info. Don't throw your life away following orders from out of touch politicians. It is not patriotic!

by and of themselves, no, that is not grounds to refuse orders/cause them to be changed. You go where you are needed, period.
