According to the Bible, eating from the forbidden fruit brought forth death. Yet, we could not have been tempted if we had been pure at heart. So was not sin part of the equation of life, and the thing that bothered God was that we had learned of it's existence.
Thus, proving the Bible is the origin of sin. Without it, people would be innocent.

Sin has never existed, and neither did Adam and Eve.

no, Satan is the origin of sin- the Bible simply wrote it out. Telling about the sin is not the same thing as doing it. Eve believed the serpent and ate the fruit, thus bringing about the eventual fall of humanity. And all she did was was bite into the fruit. Just another reason to think before you act.

Interesting question. Remember ... This was not just any Tree. It's fruit was/is not just any fruit. This is a very significant Tree! It was good for food, a delight to the eyes, could make one wise, and altered consciousness! This was no simple "apple Tree" that God chose just because it was handy. This was The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Not just any Tree. THE Tree.

Not just any knowledge. THE knowledge.

Not just any subject. But good and evil.

And it was in the absolute center of paradise.

So let me throw this out there ... Maybe, just maybe, God actually had a reason for forbidding Adam and Eve to eat from this Tree. Maybe, just maybe, his command wasn't a test but a warning! Maybe, just maybe, eating from this Tree could really seriously hurt Adam, and with him the whole of creation. Maybe, just maybe, Adam's sin wasn't a matter of his disobedience, but was a result of what eating from the Tree did to him.

Why did God command Adam to not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?

1) God had a purpose.

2) That purpose was to try to keep Adam from harm.

3) Harm could come because the Tree was a great danger to Adam.

4) Sure disobedience was involved ... sin is disobedience to God. However, in love, the Heavenly Father was trying to protect and guide his children. But, alas, it was in vain. Adam did not heed his Father's warning. As so often happens, we had to learn the hard way. Yes, sin would still exist ... People are just to curious ... To much into "I want" ...

I understand your argument - but is convoluted and has fallacies.
If the Bible is an account of the origin of man, prior to man, and was whose pages were first written at least three thousand years after Adam and Eve, it cannot be the origin of sin.
God, in his wisdom, gave man free will, starting with Adam and Eve. Satan also has free will (God forces no one or no thing to follow or worship him) and being evil chose to bring Adam and Eve to separation from God, and therefore a race into his clutches. Being innocent, they believed him and were deceived into sin.

There was sin, but not by people. Sin is disobedience to God. Satan had disobeyed God. Your argument against the Bible is flawed. For example, someone in a foreign country could park in an illegal spot because he couldn't read the sign. He would still be guilty. The sign did not make him guilty. His actions did. In the same way, the Bible shows what we should do, but is not why we are guilty of sin. Sin is from our thoughts and actions.

No.

Allow me please to elaborate: Adam & Eve were perfect but they also had free will. Eve allowed herself to dwell on the temptation to the point that she acted on it. Their hearts became imperfect after their sin. They could never turn back. And now look when they did to their offspring.

Here's how the bible writer James explained the progression:

James 1:14 - But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.

How silly. The Bible is not the origin of sin. It wasn't even written when Adam and Eve made their choice. Man must take responsibility for sin.

No, is the simple answer. God knew they would sin. But he created the garden of Eden and them for a paradise. It was their test of obedience since they had free will to choose. The devil did tempt them. BUT they chose to give in. On the other hand, one could say the answer is yes. God is all-knowing. Therefore, he waited til they "fell off the wagon". Thus, the world w/ its sin and all its problems/shame began.

Instead of asking all of your questions that are similar in nature, why don't you sit down and read the Bible all of the way through. THEN when you are done, come back and ask away.
Like I said in my last answer to you, God gave us what is called FREE WILL, meaning we can do whatever we choose. He didn't make us robots, we have the choice to believe and do whatever we want.

I think Satan would have persisted in trying to deceive Adam and Eve. He probably would have used chocolate next.
