This quote is just right
the awakening in true self is knowledge, the true self is the soul, if there is anything that exists it is this and this is nothing except love..its love itself so it never needs to learn to love
All of us are nothing except love
From a song- "except the pain of love what are you and who am I ? We are the earth, we are the sky..which is the place where we have to go?"

It doesn't mean something profound or even true just because it is slightly poetic sounding or of obscured meaning or witty.
If you look at the meaning instead of the harmony, it's just a cheap knock-off of Zen. "Don't ask the question; BE the question". See? Easy, isn't it?

the soul that does not know God can not love, it is very self centered, selfish, and full of darkness
