it will only get to 4%.and says download of file has been cancelled or interrupted..so please help!!!!thankyou sie

well i go to magers page and go to download it goes fine to 4% and said that

Hey Sierra,
Are you using wireless internet? It sounds like something is causing your internet connection to be broken while you try and download it. Is there a way you can download it onto another computer, save it to a flash drive and then install it on your computer?

If you're on dialup, make sure no one is trying to use the phone while you're downloading. If you have call waiting (where it beeps on the phone while you're talking, you will want to turn that off because it will cause your internet to hang up) Also, make sure u use your internet while you download -- sometimes it will turn off if it thinks you're not surfing.

Simple soultion is to have a friend download it for you on a pen or flash drive and install it from there,

what messenger are you trying to install? it could be that the executable file is corrupted. try downloading it again from the website and see if that helps.

if your're downloading an automatic update, try to download the file directly from
http://get.live.com/messenger/config
or if you're already downloading that, try this
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=d78f2ff1-79ea-4066-8ba0-ddbed94864fc&displaylang=en
install and update
