There is a house-party ordinance, and it has been adopted in 43 states, which allows police to enter a private residence if they suspect someone under 21 is consuming liquor, even if adults are present. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1047499-1,00.html
Why is this good. I know it will help reduce teen drunk driving, but I need 2 other reasons.

First of all, it is not 43 states, but 43 areas of Connecticut.

While it may have good intentions, it violates the rights of homeowners to be free of unreasonable searches. It allows the police to enter any home where a party or gathering is happening!

I can not think of anything good in a law that allows the police to enter a private home without permission or a warrant!

That is why we passed the "castle domain" in Texas.

You break into MY house......you get SHOT! There is no longer a requirement to "run and hide" - you break in and I feel threatened.......BANG!

it's illegal and plus it will stop ruining kidneys and it will stop some hospital visits theres 3 reasons

I AGREE THAT ALL THIS REALLY DOES IS GIVE "BIG BROTHER" ONE MORE WAY TO VIOLATE OUR RIGHTS AS U.S. CITIZENS.
