The value of the vehicle is going to depend on the amount of damage! A recovered stolen car, that was paid off by the insurance company prior to recovery, could be branded salvage and only need the ignition lock cylinder replaced! A car that rolled down a mountain would also be branded salvage, and would need a lot more work to repair!!

Without a lot more information, I could not give a reliable guess on the price!

A car with a salvage title will be worth the sum of its usable parts. If it has lots of usable parts left, it may be worth a few thousand dollars, but if the car has really been totaled, the value will be closer to scrap. Scrap is simply the value of the steel, plastic, etc that can be recovered from the car and recycled -- maybe several hundred dollars at most. D

Generally, a car with a salvage title is harder to sell but still maintains "most" its' value as if it were a clear title, depending on the individual you are selling it to.

You have to get an estimate of the repair minus the condition it is in after the repair blue book value.

You have to realize that a salvage title comes with a stigma, just depends on the person you are selling it to. You can also try to get the title cleared after the necessary repairs are made.
