You can celebrate anything you want in the privacy of your own home. I like lighting candles myself.

YES.
Carmelite Father Bob Colaresi, director of the Carmelite Spiritual Center...that he lighted his own Menorah, as he has done for several years....
Although Father Colaresi has inserted his own Christians views upon the holiday that is primarily celebrated by Jews, he said Hanukkah could be celebrated by anyone because “it ultimately became the feast of all religious freedom,” added Father Colaresi.

Yes. You can celebrate it.
It's a private celebration in your own home. You are free to do as you please in your own home.
Chances are, if you have any Jewish friends you will probably be welcome at their Chanukah celebrations as well.
You will have a lot of fun!!!
It's a very peaceful holiday, and intensely private for me. I really enjoy sitting quietly watching the candles. It's so beautiful and brings me very close to G-d.
That's not to say I don't enjoy celebrating with friends/family, because I do!! It's very fun (esp. if you have children involved!) lots of laughing!

Of course! If its something you believe in why not? My mother converted a few years ago but she celebrated chanukah for a few years before she was technically jewish.

Sure, why not? I would suggest though, that if you haven't already, that you do read up about the festival so you know why and what you are celebrating :)
If you have any Jewish friends, and they are going to synagogue, why not ask if you can go with them?
Chanukah is a really sweet festival. Enjoy! :)

You can celebrate anything you want to.
I always find it strange though. More Christians are interested in my holidays than I am in theirs. I have no interest in Christmas or Easter.
But if you want to celebrate Chanukah, go right ahead. Just be sure you know and understand what you are celebrating.
