I like Dale Jr. better than I like Jeff Gordon, as far as I can tell from what personality they are allowed to display on television.
As far as "Who's better," they are both top notch drivers. Jeff, because he has more experience is a better all around driver than Jr., but Jr is an excellent car control guy. I've seen him try and succeed at threading the needle on the track where other drivers, including Gordon, would have some serious problems. Or maybe Gordon's experience tells him that it would not be wise to try to make moves like that. I think Gordon has the edge, due to his experience. Jr. is still learning.

Jr has got a long way to catch Jeff Gordon. At this point in time I would have to say Jeff Gordon.

As a driver? Jeff Gordon
As a person? Dale Jr
Jeff is to "slick" for my taste but he's an excellent driver. Junior is a good ole boy with down home flavor. I like that.
