Would you kill the person who harmed your child?

Question

If your daugther told you that a man raped her or violated her in any kind of way, do you think you could swallow your hurt and pain and wait for the law to take over? What if the law did nothing except put the violator in jail for a few months and now they're free to do it again? Would you be so angry you could kill? Would that be wrong? What if you confront the person and he acts as if there was nothing of it? Would rage overcome you? What if it was your son? Do you believe in violence caused by rage and revenge? After all, we're here to protect our children... right?

I would not kill him. If he is dead, he would feel no pain! I may do some things that would make him wish he were dead. He may find that there is pain that he never even imagined could exist! He may find that he no longer can rape anyone, because of "equipment damage".

It would not be rage. Rage is when you allow your emotions to take over! It would be a well planned and executed operation!

Here is one better than death.
Get the name of the judge who let him loose and go to the news media.When the story gets on TV the judge will be pooping in his robe.
Make sure his name is plastered all over the city at election time with the story of the rape under his picture.
Also name the investigators the sheriff etc who were all involved in this case.Also have the man's name and picture who raped your daughter along with the judges, then people will know who he is.Dont worry he will get whats coming to him eventually.To be honest it'd be hard for me not to include this rapist in a disappearing act.

Well that person's daughter has went through enough, and having her mother locked up for a very long time, will hurt her more then anything because she will start thinking "It's my fault that my mom killed him and is now in jail"

In the criminal system this is considerd a "crime of passion" it is a lesser sentence, but it is a pretty deep sentence.

I would let the law take it in their own hands and if they arent doing enough i would go over their heads, and their heads, untill you get their corporation.

Also the law hates the media because it makes them look bad, if they are letting her accuser off, then take it too the media and i bet you will have some results from that.

I would not confront him, because your anger would overcome you and one or both of you will end up hurt, and it just isnt worth it.

Yes I would.I already went through one of my kids being molested and all,that went through watching the torture my child had to endure,with courts and their mess ups,all the things she had to endure,it was way to painful. I swore I would never let anther living soul hurt another one of my children, or any one Else's. My child or not Sorry if that sounds cruel, and it doesn't mean I wouldn't still love my child, but I could and would not allow my child to ever hurt another persons child like that.

yes i would kill someone if they raped my child, i wish my mother did that for me but she didn't my mother watched men rape me it should be legal for you to retaliate. rapist should be put away for ever and ever never let out matter how much good they have done in jail. a child doesn't deserve that at a young age getting raped having you privates ripped open its horrible and yes i would murder someone if they raped my child

No,make sure he's caught and goes to prison,they do not like people in prison that do children in any way,life will be a living hell for him,and he might end up dead anyways,guards do turn their heads in certain cases,better than taking a chance that you might end up in prison,your child will need you more than ever,if something like that happened.!!!
