The human mind is being influenced continuously. One has a view point at every stage in life. The Media is just one of those who can influence opinion. It might be that one is influenced by the Media when it adds to ones previous knowledge on the subject. The Media has a role to play .

After a fashion. I tend to assume that a media characterization of a group is mostly spin and outright lies.
So, for instance, when I hear the media persistently characterize illegal aliens as 'undocumented workers,' I become suspicious that many of them may not be working at all...
Similarly, in spite of media depictions, I suspect that there may be some erudite individuals living in the 'flyover states.'

Definitely not. The media only tells you what they want you to believe. If you look at news around the world about one event, you will find many versions of it. I believe that you need to be open minded and not judge anyone or anything by what other people tell you.

No.....I look out my door and judge it on what I see going on around me. Sometimes we agree and sometimes we don't. My opinion is on my own personal experience.

Personally no.
However there are many people that do, and are so full of spite and hatred for the other party that they are willing, and wanting to believe anything.

Nope I always make up my own mind and never go with the masses of sheep! Just like the antis in here. They are masses that need approval from everyone. You should always make up your own mind. Be a leader not a follower!
