no it does not.
Gatorade and Powerade are energy drinks which are basically made to restore your electrolytes after exercise.. so if you're running for say 13 miles and sweating, you're suppose to drink energy drinks like Gatorade to refuel your electrolytes. Also, energy drinks has sugar, and calories while water has none. I'd suggest drinking these drinks only if you exercise but most young people drink it for pleasure.

NO! Gatorade / powerade is very bad unless you drink the same amount of water with it. It takes water away from your kidneys...

nope it contains calories and to the body it has the same effect as eating. digestive enzymes are released, blood sugar increases, insulin levels increase, etc.
