DO NOT buy any intercooler for the ps3 or build some crazy water cooler on the ps3. it gets rid of heat fine. the intercooler actually heats up the ps3 more because it uses more electricity. and you dont want to take a risk with water in the ps3

Why would you want to? The PS3 doesn't have problems overheating.

Yes, I recall seeing an article about some crazy do-it-yourself modder who punched some holes in his PS3 so he could run a water cooling system for it. But....why? Other than the standard hacker reason "Because I can", it doesn't really serve any useful purpose. It's not as if you can overclock your PS3 and make the games run better or anything like that.
