my dog just passed today while I was at school. My uncle told me that he passed. My mom and dad both said for me to mop and everything to get rid of the smell. I had mopped with HOT water and I scrubbed. Is there anything else we could do?? We have linoleum floors.

I'm so very sorry. Was he throwing up and having diarrhea? If so, it was probably parvo that has a distinct smell. I would try dissolving baking soda in water and scrubbing with that. And I am sorry that Mom and Dad seem to be upset with you about it.

Put liquid Lysol in the mop water.

Try using a pet stain and odor spray. These sprays tend to work on getting the pet odor, I wonder if you spray 1/2 or the entire bottle where the dog was...if it would have the same effect with the "dead" dog smell?....If you decide to give this a try .....let me know if it worked!

My condolence :(

Oh baby i'm so sorry to hear that! Use small amount of bleach, with hot water. Why aren't your parents doing that?

But I would say Bleach or Vinigar because my floors used to be linoleum.

I have a question for you. Why do you have to get rid of a smell? He must have died a painful death.
