why do you need to convert? Do you follow ALL the teachings of Bible. Just by accepting the religion, you don't become a Christian. Just by believing in Jesus, you don't go to heaven. Haven't you ever lied? Are you honest with other people all the time? Do you get up and leave when people start to gossip?
Follow the word of the God completely then try telling other people what to do?
Improve your life first......

Each person has to find their own way in life. Much of the problem in the world is the lack of respect and tolerance towards other people's religious or non-religious beliefs.

TOLERANCE towards another human being is what is called for here, and RESPECT.

How would you feel if somebody was judgemental, prejudice and discriminate against you? What goes around always comes around. Remember that!

May you be blessed with insight x

Get back to the Original Kingdom Gospel and people will come around and learn to respect what you are teaching. Get back to what Jesus was actually preaching and things will get better.

If you don't know what I am talking about, take a look at this... It's a restoration of the Original Kingdom Gospel in very understandable terms.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can.

Atheist's beliefs are based entirely on physical, empirical evidence that they can see and measure, in front of their very eyes. That is almost the way that their minds are hard-wired to work.

(I don't see anything wrong with being this logical and methodical - I'm an atheist myself).

Unfortunately, every type of 'evidence' for God that you have - be it the bible, religious experiences, church sermons etc. all require faith to believe in them.

This is something that just doesn't gel with atheists because it goes against the methodical, logical thought processes they believe to be the best way of approaching things.

Furthermore, how would you feel if you discovered that Islam or Buddhism was actually the correct religion - because they all have equal claim to being right, you know? - and you'd spent your life stopping people from getting into heaven who otherwise would have.

WE don't do it. I believe in trying to be a good example as a way to talk with people and not trying to "convert" them. That's silly--makes many of them even more hard-hearted, as you read about on this site.

Are you so insecure in your beliefs that you have to try to coerce others to join you? Why try to convert others. that makes you no better than the muslims in Darfur with their guns at people's heads saying convert or die

Don't pray for us. If you want to do a good deed then just help someone in need of help! (And not by witnessing to them.)

Suffering? I hope you're not self-flagellating or anything. That's just really weird.

You don't. All you can do is tell them about Jesus dying for their sins, after that it is their decision to either accept or not. You did your part.

No, we don't convert them. Only God can convict and convert them.
