I found it on this Sony site:

http://www.sony.lv/view/ShowProductCategory.action?site=odw_en_LV&category=TVP+32-40+Sony+BRAVIA+TV

Note the ".lv" in the URL. It's from Latvia. I noticed when I did a search on that model number that almost all of the results were for sites in Spanish, French, or German. I also noticed that Sony has many different sites, depending on what country you're in. Maybe these countries use a different video standard, so that this model is only available in those countries.

By the way, you can't go wrong with a Sony LCD HDTV. They're all good. I have a 40" Bravia KDL40S2000 with 720 resolution and it's awesome.

Maybe the ones that aren't on the Sony website have been discontinued, and the sites that still have them listed still have them in stock.
