ant farm or tame rat wilf rats are more prone to biting and therefore can cause infection or disease.

Ant farms are cooooooooool

And keeping a wild rat would be cruel

Neither but if I absolutely had to Ant Farm, Wild Rats are not nearly as clean as domestic ones.

idk iv had a rat before but not a wild one i wouldnt have an ant farm though i mean what if the cage tipped over it would be a disaster to clean up not to mention that there would be ants all over the place for like ever

I had wild rats before - lovely little things, but they arent like domesticated rats. I took in a stray white rat I found wandering around outside who turned out to be pregnant. She had 8 babies. I released them in a conservation area when they turned 6 weeks.

Probably the ants. They wouldnt bite me and give me dieseses.

Either would work, but I'd probably prefer the rat as long as it wasn't rabid or something.
