If you have recieved a rejection letter from a potential employee what is the proper way to respond to the rejection letter?

Not required to respond, but if you REALLY want to work there - write back and ask if they have any feedback as to how you could improve your chances of a future position, and let them know that you are still interested in any appropriate openings at their company. Thank them for their time - BUT don't be too bummed out if they don't reply AGAIN - it's a job interview, not a pen pal...

You don't necessarily have to respond to a rejection letter unless it specifically states that you have to. If you feel you must respond, just a "thank you" will suffice.

I would send a thank you note anyways. Just in case something opens up at the company that might be a good fit for you.

there's not really any response needed except for the thank you note you should have sent after your interview.

if you feel the need, you can send them another letter acknowledging that you didnt' get the position and your disappointment at not being hired and then thank them again for their time in considering you for the position.
