You may be feeling overwhelmed. Can you talk with your wife about the issues at home? For your marriage to work out well, you both need to be open with each other and find ways to compromise.

Sounds like you might have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which happens when one experiences a trauma so severe that it stays in your subconcious. When you suffer from PTSD, you get "triggers" which can be a sound, tone in someones voice, color, strangely familiar situation, etc. that will trigger many emotions-mostly anxiety-due to the fact that the hidden issue lying in your subconciuos is being brought forth with out your knowledge. You must go see a therapist who specializes in PTSD ASAP! This way, you can learn what your issue is, what your triggers may be, and how to calm yourself when you realize you are being triggered.
Little trick- if you feel an anxiety attack coming on, or are in the thick of it, go and grab some ice, sit one the ground to feel your sit spots(butt bones) and preferably have your back against a wall. Grab those ice cubes and squeeze. Do not let go no matter how much it burns because that burning will snap you back into the present in no time flat! I wish you the best of luck, and never forget- ICE,ICE, ICE! :)

Do you have a wife who is a nag? Sometimes that will drive a person to drink.....If she is nags she must be unhappy too.....Find a good bible teaching church and get your family in there and walk with the Lord Jesus......Get into some good bible studies the church might have.......Stay very close to Jesus....After you get off work have a talk with your wife...Tell her you have decided to start a prayer life and want to be alone some in your room and read your bible and talk with God....Just tell her you want to get God in your life and don't let her call the plays in this matter....You start going to church without her if she won't go and tell her you want the kids in church.....Maybe you go to church I don't know but Jesus said if we keep our minds on him we will have a sound mind.
Sounds like you need to talk with your wife alone about your unhappiness.....Pray together.....A woman and man have a heavy load raising a family.....It calls for a lot of sacrifice on the part of both.......See if there is any way you can take your wife out some alone to dinner and a move or something she likes to do....but I'll tell you this, I see couples with children in the church that have made their entire life the church and working with the people there......They are in the activities they have at the church....This does not sound like a bad idea....Find a good church you like with lots of activities going on for you and the children....Do you have parent's living close that will watch your children for you some while you and your wife go out alone some?
I don't know what kind of woman you have given your life to but I hope she is loving and will join you in walking with the Lord Jesus.

I've had anxiety attacks most my life and still do. For me I've been told there is no cure, so what I do is keep myself around postive energy, like listen to music, when my daughter gets to me I let her dad watch her and go work out, and I do things that make me feel a little better, also breathing helps and smoking. Okay don't smoke! but it helps me.

I suffered from panic attacks from the age of 19-53. It was a terrible life. Finally the drs figured out it is depression turned inward. They put me on an anti depressant and I put myself in counseling.
Since then if I have one, it is small, and I know something in my life needs to change.

I have had anxiety attacks before, but I went to see a psychologist to help me cope with it. It depends how bad it is. If it is really bad you may need to be on medication. Otherwise see a psychologist and they will teach you how to cope with it. Hope that helps.
